On Saturday, July 20th, Face the Future Foundation brought back our summer picnic for the patients, families and clinicians of UI Craniofacial Center!

The weather was perfect at Burnham Park, right off the lake, where we held the picnic. 

The afternoon was filled with yard games, bounce houses and inflatables, face painting and illustrations, hot dogs and sweet treats! Each child that came to the event received a full new backpack of school supplies to set them up for success for the new school year. 

Face the Future Foundation granted this year’s Adrienne L. Green Scholarship recipient with his well deserved 5,000 dollar scholarship for higher education.

The smiles were as bright as the sun, and the laughter could be heard for hours from children and CFC clinicians alike!

Thursday, November 9, 2023 was truly a night of Glitter and Gold. The evening raised more than $130,000 to help support the work accomplished at The University of Illinois Craniofacial Center. With these funds, Face the Future Foundation is now able to host a Holiday Party for the patients (and their families) of the Center. The afternoon will include giving gifts to every child in attendance, fun, food, crafts, and pictures with Santa. The Foundation is also able to purchase the necessary equipment and renovations to build the first ever Digital Prosthetic Eye Lab at the Center.

The University of Illinois Craniofacial Center’s staff, patients, and families are grateful for every donation. Funds raised are able to raise helps to expand the scope and quality of care provided to under-resourced children throughout the Chicago area. 

Face the Future Foundation partnered with Ralph Lauren on Michigan Avenue for their annual "Summer Shop Til You Drop!" event, held on October 12-15, 2023. Fifteen percent of full-price, pre-taxed purchases made by customers shopping on behalf of Face the Future were donated, raising more than $8,000 to support The University of Illinois Craniofacial Center. Face the Future believes that “every child with craniofacial differences can live a confident, joyful and fulfilling life”. 

On October 20, 2022 more than 150 guests gathered for Face the Future Foundation’s Endless Summer Event. This was the first in person event held by The Foundation since February 2020. The evening raised more than $130,000 to help support the work accomplished at The University of Illinois Craniofacial Center. The evening was complete with delectable cuisine, raffle prizes, live auction trips to Tuscany and Ireland, and a paddle raise.
     Funds from this event have been allocated to purchase a 3D oral scanner for infants at The Center. Contributions to The Foundation are essential to the level of care for many families that have been economically impacted by Covid, and worried if their children would be able to continue with the treatments they need.
